Leading Workplace and Workforce Expert Cam Marston launches radio show
Posted On March 12, 2018
After 20 years studying workplace and workforce trends, generational expert Cam Marston is taking his expertise to the airwaves and the podcast arena.
In the new show, which will be broadcast via talk radio stations in the Biloxi, Pensacola, Montgomery, and Mobile markets, and via podcast on iTunes, Marston will examine the trends that are shaping our workforce and workplace, from parenting trends to recruiting strategies to retirement plans.
An author, columnist, training and development designer, and lecturer, Marston is the leading expert on generational change and its impact on the workplace and marketplace. Marston and his firm, Generational Insights, have provided research and consultation on generational issues to hundreds of companies and professional groups, ranging from small businesses to multinational corporations, as well as major professional associations, for over two decades.
Guests confirmed for Marston’s include:
- UNC Volleyball Coach Joe Sagula: After thirty years as a head coach in a highly competitive program, Coach Sagula must remain on the forefront of what it takes to recruit talent. He’s a leading indicator of what we can expect from the generation to follow the Millennials — known as the iGen or Gen Z.
- Marie Artim, Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition at Enterprise Holdings: Artim will oversee the recruitment and hiring of thousands of employees to support the company’s operations this year, 9,000 of which will be in their elite Management Training Program. Given our tight labor market, what’s her secret?
- Jim Sporleder, a top trainer for Workplace Safety: With a background in law enforcement, Jim will discuss how to spot workplace violence before it happens and behaviors to watch for in our colleagues that may indicate the likelihood of an incident.
- Byron Reece, Artificial Intelligence expert and Entrepreneur: What jobs are at risk from AI? And is there a way to test a job to determine if AI will someday replace it? Finally, what do you and I need to do to prevent our livelihoods from being eliminated by a computer?
